A word from Jane Cay, our big bird founder

Yes please — summer is in the air. Nothing quite compares to that first real taste of summer where we linger outside, basking in the warmth. This year it feels like my body is literally craving the sun! And after flicking through this mini mag I’m dreaming of colour — this is definitely the season to brighten that wardrobe up and take your colour wheel up a notch.

While we are on the new thing for summer, it is with great pleasure that I introduce to you the latest bird brand in our flock, sea bird. Opposite this letter, you’ll find Stacey wearing a flowing blue maxi dress, which is just one of a collection of stunning new pieces launching in this range. With a focus on high quality fibres and exquisite embellishments, this resort wear brand is truly a ‘bit special’. It has been years in the dreaming for our design team and it is wonderful to see this bird take flight, bringing joy into your wardrobes and lives.

PS Thanks to those who made it to our September Market Day in Cooma to shop secondhand and help us raise $18,000 for Save The Children: Supporting children caught in the conflict in Ukraine. Not only was this such a great opportunity to support this cause, it felt so amazing to welcome you all into our nest. The stories of women empowering one another in the changerooms on this day truly warmed our hearts.
