FEEL GOOD

Once your pieces have been sent back to the nest, we will process your contributions and add them to your birdsnest store credit or pay it forward with a charity donation.

How do I send my items back to 'the nest'?

Items are to be addressed back to birdsnest:

There are 2 ways to get your pieces back to us.

  1. With your next order, enter the code REHATCHED at the checkout and we will send you your form and a prepaid returns satchel in your order. You can then fill out your form at home or use the online form, put your pieces in the prepaid satchel and send it flying back to the nest.

  2. If you have some pieces, but aren’t looking to make a purchase right now, fill in your form online, or download your form and you send the pieces back yourself.

What happens to my item if I send it back and it does not meet the criteria?

Items must be in very good to excellent condition with no signs of wear and tear, are not in need of repair, have label intact, no make up stains and have been laundered. If your items do not meet this criteria, we unfortunately cannot accept them, and will not be able to return them to you. We will happily donate them to charity for you.

Before sending any pieces back to birdsnest rehatched, remember to ask yourself these 3 questions :

  1. Are they are in very good to excellent condition?
  2. Are they are clean and laundered?
  3. Is the original retail price was $50 or more?

*Please note: If items have been altered you can still send them back for a credit. They will not be resold online, but will go into our physical rehatched markets.

How do I find the STYLE CODE of my item?

Login to you birdsnest account, find the order with the item you want to re-home, click on the item and you will see the style code under the name of the item in grey text.

How long will it take for me to receive my credit note?

You should see the credit in your account approximately one month after we receive the items at our processing facility. For faster processing, please call our Customer Service team at 1300 696 378.

What is birdsnest credit and what can I uses it on?

You will receive your credit as an e-voucher that can be used on ANYTHING on the birdsnest site - including sale items and in conjunction with all other promotions and deals.

What happens to the clothes after we send them back?

One bird’s nest is another bird’s feathers! Once your pieces land in the nest, our rehatched team will work on finding their forever homes. For like-new pieces, we will add them to our rehatched online collection. For items that may have some gentle wear and tear, we will add them to our collection of preloved goodies to be sold at a physical market in Cooma.

How have you come up with the credit model?

The credit table is based on research into the pricing models of established resale marketplaces and takes into account the time we will spend checking and preparing these garments and finding them their perfect new owner and home

The credit you receive may not be enough to clear out your entire birdsnest wishlist, but when you think of what you’re doing for the environment and the spare hangers you’ll have free’d up - we hope a little birdsnest credit is just a touch of icing on an already delicious cake!
